Insulin's paradoxical effects in lean and in obese.

Clarity? about insulin in lean non-IR, obese IR, peripheral ANABOLIC insulin(except in uncontrolled DM w high glucose) central CATABOLIC Insulin (shares same brain pathway as Leptin.  How does IR and Leptin resistance affect central pathway? Leptin negates #LCHF in reduced obese

Visceral fat causes Insulin resistance 4 min video

Below is from Ludwig's review of CIM theory
I suspect "intrinsically high insulin response" = INSULIN RESISTANCE
Also from Ludwig's article:
Although many factors affect fat cells, the hormone insulin exerts dominant anabolic control. (peripherally)

Insulin decreases the circulating concentration of all major metabolic fuels
by:
1-stimulating glucose uptake into tissues,
2- suppressing release of fatty acids from adipose tissue,
3-inhibiting production of ketones in the liver, and

4-promoting fat and glycogen deposition.
From critique of Ludwig's article by Kevin Hall et al

I am confused by Hall's response here. Insulin acts differently in the obese insulin resistant.
