Omega 3 blood tests

Recently I became concerned w getting enough DHA into my brain.

My DHA level was normal on two different tests at

 3.6 weight percentage.

I have no idea what "weight percentage" means.

After receiving the excellent info from Dr Davidson I started Krill Oil.

Intermittent fasting is helping bring my Glucose down after ice cream.

Yesterday my glucose was 150 and ketones 1.9 at 9:00 AM after skipping breakfast at 12:05 PM after 13 hour fast Glucose was 137 and ketones 2.8 Today my glucose was 168 and ketones 2.1 at 6:53 AM After 13 hour fast my glucose went down to 155 and ketones went up to 3.1 I was doing 16 hour fasts but after a while paradoxically my glucose went up. I believe it was due to chronic stress of fasting and it raise my cortisol level. In Wiki: "Glucagon during fasting When fasting the hormone glucagon is stimulated and this increases plasma glucose levels in the body. If a patient doesn't have diabetes, their body will produce insulin to rebalance the increased glucose levels."

I just started book three of the trilogy by Peter May

A new achievement and a new mental exercise.

I have not been reading novels since my diagnosis of Alzheimers in Dec 2017.

I have been obessive watching politics in preparation of the 2020 Presidential election.

I also learned from the memory book Moon Walking with Eintstein that people don't remember the books they read?

Truth is, I forget TV series we have watched and often need to watch the first season again to remind us of what is going on with the second season.

It was different with this novel, Blackhouse by Peter May.

Most importantly I underlined all the names of the characters.

In movies and TV I will often forget who the characters are talking about when they mention a name.

Easier in a book to flip pages back and find the highlighted name.

Secondly if there are no subtitles in the movie or series, I will miss dialogue evheyen though I have my hearing aides in.

With a book I can read the paragraph and truly understand what is going on in the conplex plot.

How I chose this book.

Last week I was walking along Jensen Beach and I stopped to talk to a couple I had never met before.

They said they were from Canada.

I replied Canadians, nicest people in the world.

The husband thanked me.

I asked him if he know how to make a Canadian say:

"I'm sorry."

I told him you step on the Canadians toe.

He laughed.

He told me about a great detective novel placed in the Hebrides, Scotland.  I am planning a trip to Scotland and was interested.

The first book of the Trilogy, Blackhouse is extremely well written.

A little slow at first but after the first 100 pages it started to pick up.

The last 100 pages was fast and furious.

It was a great experience for me as I highlighted many parts of it.

Looking forward the reading the next two books in the trilogy.

Timely subject considering the George Floyd death by Police trial.

I have watched many forensic series.
Silent Witness is very good.
I am also a physician but I never knew the facts below.
Even the present trial in Minnesota does not explain
how easy it is to strangle someone.
I just started Peter May's book Blackhouse.

update trials of Alzheimers

The best part of the day is when I have a bowel movement.   Recently started Miralax. I found MOM too harsh. Pacing helps but I get exhaust...
