Festination link

My walking has gotten much worse this year than my mentation.

I learned how to get up after I fall from my 85 year old neighbor.

I got on the ground.

He told me to get on my knees.

Bend one knee up.

Then put both hands on that knee to push myself up.

I was able to do it.

 I couldn't believe I couldn't figure that out or a physician didn't tell me.

My new cane link

I have not needed my cane to get up from the ground as I use it when I walk downhill to prevent festination.  The cane helps me from speeding up walking downhill.
