I learned to play C, F and G7 chord today

As an Alzheimers patient I wanted to learn a new skill to socialize.

I purchased a Ukulele for myself for Christmas.

I finally got around to watch a youtube link:

How to play the Ukulele in 5 minutes.

Then I found a link to play a song with only two chords.

Row Row Row Your Boat.

It is sweet and such a coincidence
for me because
this is the first song my mother taught me to sing.

I received a basic instruction manual with my Ukulele.

I could not decipher it.

I tried to learn how to play guitar in college.
I learn to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
I quit right afterwards.
It was too difficult for me and hurt my fingers.

I like to sing and strumming a few chords on a Ukulele seemed the perfect instrument.

I had no memory of  the chords for Twinkle Twinkle.

Now to remind me in the present:

  1. Brian,

It is wonderful for you to get interested in playing the Ukulele.
I had similar thoughts to start learning to play some simple instrument. Maybe someday; right now Maryon continues to train me to clean.
Keep me in the loop on your next draft.

    Steve
