My MRI and PET/CT imaging

In 2014 I asked my Internist Jennifer Schied if there was a Alzheimer’s trial I could enter? She didn’t know of any.

I studied for 6 months to take the American Board of Obesity Medicine  exam on 12-10-15.
I received notice I passed the exam on 1-28-16.
How could I have Alzheimer’s?

I wanted to open an obesity clinic in Topeka but the Board asked me to be evaluated before they re-activated my license.

Colorado Physician Evaluation Program (CPEP)
charged me $8,000 for the one day evaluation done in Denver at their office on August 15, 2016.

On Jan. 26, 2017 I was asked by a neurologist,
"What does it matter if you have Alzheimer's. There is no cure."

MRI finding 2-3-17

PET Amyloid scan December 2017

This was paid for by a trial.
Usually $5,000
I got into the trial on the last day of availability thanks to my neurologist in Florida.
Two weeks later I was back in Kansas and he called the result.
It was very sad for me to hear the news.
He had me start Namzaric.

Research MRI done at Hogland 7-17-18

I get a repeat MRI each year for my non-treatment trial along with lab work and 3 hour cognitive testing.
They never did a spinal tap for CSF as I am on Xarelto blood thinner.

I don't get to see the results anymore.

At KUMCR a neurology memory specialist told me I had Alzheimers
based on my heterogeneous AZ gene positivity and my poor sequential cognitive testing.

He said "8% of heterozygotes go on to have Alzheimer’s.
30% of homozygotes go on to have Alzheimer’s."

The Doctor said I had mild cognitive impairment.

I wanted to learn my diagnosis of Alzheimer's as early as possible so I could put my affairs in order.

I also wanted to start medication as soon as possible.

The best part of the day is when I have a bowel movement.   Recently started Miralax. I found MOM too harsh. Pacing helps but I get exhaust...
